To keep the people affected by the disaster healthy

HuMA continues its medical support activities at the evacuation center in Suzu City. Today, the number of patients seen was low, probably due to the snow and sometimes hail.

Japan Disaster Rehabilitation Assistance Team (JRAT) visited us and conducted health exercises for the elderly under the guidance of an exercise instructor. Most people participated and it was very well received. The instructor was from another district and a disaster victim herself, so she came to see if there was anything she could do to help. The local accent enlivened the audience enthusiastically.

We also provide mobile medical services. Today, in the snow, we visited elderly families who continue to stay in their homes affected by the disaster. We will continue to do what we can to help those affected by the disaster stay as healthy as possible.
