We were informed that a person who had tested positive for corona the day before at the shelter was not in good condition, and we visited him immediately. He was unable to eat, and we judged that he had pneumonia, so we transported him to Suzu General Hospital. We also examined and transported other patients with symptoms.
While we were outside guiding the ambulance, we were kindly thanked by what we assumed to be a neighbor resident.
At the first aid station, which HuMA is in charge of, we set up 9 additional cardboard beds with mountain guide volunteers. We have also set up information about the relief station in the tent.
Tomorrow, about 60 people will be moved from another evacuation center. We will continue to improve the environment in the shelter as we have 40 secondary evacuees scheduled to move in the day after tomorrow.
