Supporting Activities for the Elderly and Staff (10.18-19)

At the nursing care facility, we provide support for daily living, including meals, bathing, and dressing. Through services such as bathing assistance (wheelchair transfers, physical support during bathing, and dressing assistance), meal assistance (support during meals and hydration), and diaper changing, we support the residents so that they can live with peace of mind.

Initially, when we started our support activities, we were instructed on each task and how to perform it. However, through our daily activities, we were able to grasp the workflow and reduce the need for instructions. This has not only reduced the burden on us as support staff, but also on the facility staff who provide instructions, leading to smoother cooperation.

In the evening, we attended a meeting of the support organization. Many people have lost their homes due to the disaster and are still forced to live in evacuation shelters. The disaster volunteer center is accepting volunteers to remove sandbags from disaster sites. We will also do what we can. We will continue to support the elderly residents of the facility and the affected staff. We are always grateful for your warm support!
