Flooding occurred in the city of Suzu, which was hit by the Noto Peninsula earthquake in January 2024. As a result, the number of evacuees, which had been on the decrease, increased. After gathering information, it was determined that there was a need for assistance, such as patrols to evacuation centers, and HuMA dispatched a survey team to Suzu City. Depending on the results of the survey team, there is a possibility of continued support afterwards.
The survey team (nurses and paramedics) will visit evacuation centers that HuMA was supporting and conduct a survey of health and medical needs.
